"Cat herding" has been a decent-enough job description for any management-type function in any technical field. You can pretty much go by the math requirement; when almost all of the staff in a given field have passed more than two algebra classes, you have a cat herd.

First time I heard the term, it was referring to a herd of feline engineers but I since find that it applies to more than the design staff.

Just checked. Alas, there are none available.

Much as I love cats, there was a time when there was no room in my cabinets for YET ANOTHER coffee mug. So I never got one.

Barfle,
You're going out on a limb for that joke. Leaf me alone. :)

Man, my brain is BARFLED today. First I thought HE was the one that almost got hit with the horseshoe, now I misread the above because we were also communicating about trees in a different thread.

OT,

You know how it is with the BBB. Subjects can branch out over several threads. You have to really trace their roots to see where they come from.

I hope you didn't find my earlier post to be too cutting.

I think I'll bough out for now.

For all M&M lovers

"M-Vader" is joined by "Star Wars" characters Darth Vader and C-3PO as the new M&M's are unveiled in New York Tuesday.

M&M's have gone to the "dark side." For the first time in the company's 64-year history, M&M's Brand Candies is introducing a dark chocolate version of its famous candy — and just in time for the release of "Star Wars: Episode III, Revenge of the Sith," the sixth and final episode of the Star Wars saga.

One X-wing Fighter spacecraft, two droids, a host of storm troopers and Darth Vader with his M&M's counterpart "M-Vader," gathered in New York's Times Square Tuesday to unveil the dark chocolate M&M's.

Both the new dark and old milk chocolate M&M's feature special "Star Wars"-themed colors and packaging depicting the M&M's "spokescandies" in various movie scenarios.

According to Masterfoods USA, the makers of M&M's, dark chocolate is rapidly increasing in popularity with a 31 percent growth rate each year.

100 Years of Happiness.
=================================================

In the 100 years since the launch of Cadbury Dairy Milk back in 1905, the world has changed almost beyond recognition. We can now travel to every corner of the globe in hours instead of the weeks it took our great grandparents. We can talk to virtually anyone, anywhere using mobile telephones no bigger than a pack of cards that have the computing power of PCs. We have even slipped free of earth's gravity, sending probes out to investigate the far reaches of our solar system and even put men on the moon - things that would seem incredible to our forefathers.

There is one thing though that hasn't changed one bit. Our great grandparents would still recognise the taste of Cadbury Dairy Milk today as the same everyday indulgence they enjoyed at the beginning of the 20th century.

Cadbury's has grown a bit too. The NZ branch had a contest a while ago: "I would like to eat a block of Cadbury Choclate in..." (name of town where Cadbury's is available, worldwide).

Unfortunately I didn't win it.
