A co-worker and I had a conversation about a popular-ish new group, only we don't know their name. Their music sounds pretty celtic in nature, there are two pretty, dark-haired women that look alike, and there are at least two violins in the band. <P>Nicole, I put this on your board because it seems like your tastes are varied, and I thought you might know. Anyone?
I have to agree. I would guess the Corrs also. They are from Ireland and have the rock/pop/celtic feel. U2 are big supporters of the newest band from their homeland. I haven't heard much of their music except what I've heard online.
You may have. They are getting tons of press coverage. They have a video out also that VH1 plays often (if you're a fan of music videos) But online is the best place to get a feel for them.
Here's another guess.<P>I saw an interview recently with a new "all-girl" group called "Bond." They are basically a string quartet of lovely ladies that are trying to make classical music more appealing to the younger generation.<P>This guess would settle the "at least two violins" part.<P>Regards,<BR>Tim B.<BR>
