Hi everyone! Since I am a brand spanking new member, I thought I'd introduce myself. I am German born and raised, but have lived in the U.S for the last 25 years. Most recently in Montana.
I just found Beethoven.com a few days ago and just love the site. Didn't realize that things can get this hot and heavy in a place where you'd think people are more unobtrusive and polished.
Anyhow since the Schumann/Brahms story had such an effect I thought I'd tell you about Wagner.
I heard that he and King Ludwig of Bavaria were very, very tight. So much so that Ludwig built him a beautiful little grotto in Linderhof, the King's little lust castle. And here I was brought up to believe that the gay/lesbian phenomenon is a modern thing.
UH, OH, I can see Mr. Molman's blood pressure rising, I better shut up now!
