Radiohead has always been a fav band of mine (and Dan Maselli). With the release of Chris O'Riley's "True Love Waits" Radiohead has now filtered into the classical music world. Beethoven Radio has been featuring the new CD from O'Riley and interest is growing.

I recieved an email from a few listeners interested in more from Radiohead. I was asked to post my fav lyrics from Radiohead (below are the lyrics to Fake Plastic Trees off The Bends CD). Do a search for Radiohead and tune into Beethoven Radio to hear and request the CD from O'Riley!

nicole, in my opinion radiohead is probably the best band of the last 20 years or so. "ok computer" is, to me, right up there with "the wall."

I agree! I'm split between "OK Computer" and "The Bends". It's a tough one. Any other Radiohead fans out there?

I dig all areas of music. But as far as punk bands (links below) I have to agree with NOFX, Bad Religion, Rancid/Op Ivy, Drop Kick Murphy's, Sex Pistols, the Plasmatics with Wendy O, and the list could go on and on. I also have to give it up for Fear Factory even though they don't fall in the punk genre.

OT, I can't believe you like Pink Floyd. I would have never imagined. I love "The Wall" and practicly everything they have ever recorded.

I didn't really care for The Wall (a lot of griping about reality) but DSOTM is a requirement! I have 3 copies of it, at least! The original LP, a half-speed mastered LP, and the 20th anniversary edition CD.

At Altec, we used "Breathe" to test woofers.

I remember those guys. Bunch of Chula Vista boys. Locals. Wonder where they are now?

And I've got a good word for you, Gab. The word is "Premarin". Currently the only reason for the continued existence of my husband, kids, one of the cats, and three people at work. I had hiding places for the corpses all picked out, just waiting for decent opportunities...

However, it is my contention that we don't actually have brainfarts. All the stuff is still inside the head, it's just that the index file has gotten somewhat disordered. Randomized. But not actually lost; the thing I'm trying to remember eventually floats up to the top of the memory heap, and I can pluck it off.

The memory associations are still good, though. "Iron Butterfly" brings back the smell of the 60's. Cinnamon coffee, spilled beer, smell of tobacco and other smoking herbs in the air. And my knees didn't ever hurt.
