Belated congrats OT! I'm often waiting around months to find out if a grant is funded, thus whether I'll continue being employed, so I know where you're coming from.

I'm just waiting for the Ireland pics. We went there for our honeymoon, so I'm interested in what you saw - same or different from us. I'm sure you saw St. Patrick's in Dublin. We didn't go looking for cathedrals, but did see a bunch of castles. I could share some pics... ;)

I'll resume posting the photos. As for St. Patrick's, we saw it from the outside. We poked our heads in, and decided it wasn't worth the price of admission for us. The grounds around the building, ad the building itself, however, are beautiful.

If I remember correctly, our pics of the inside of St. Patrick's were pretty dark and not so good. I think they're still up on the web...should see if I can still get at them... Got the best outside shots from the top of the doubledecker tour bus.

Our biggest impression of Dublin: city you can't get out of! I remeber it took us about 30 min from our B&B into Dublin, and about 1:30 to get out (on different days at different times...arg!). Too many one-way streets that don't lead where you think they're supposed to. The rest of Ireland was much easier to navigate.
