I was hoping for a Blues/Lite Jazz/Old Time R'n'R/Viennese Waltz style. It would work so well with bagpipes, doncha know.

Oh ma gosh! I started page two! That means my style wins, right?????

I vote for standards, any jazz up to bebop, and light classical. I think those genres would appeal to a large audience and we could have a whole lot of fun and creativity doing them.

But, whatever we do, it has to include several numbers from the "Three Hottie Double Bassists". ;)

I'm thinking jazz/acid metal/rap fusion with a performer that just wanders around stage in a drunken stupor...

That seems to be the norm with current bands these days...a member that doesn't play any instrument, doesn't sing, but just walks about, dancing on occasion and banging on whatever is near...

And with the market being what it is, I don't think we can interest the public with The Hottie Double 'B's...definately need to go for Double 'D's...bigger is better...

Hey...I don't dictate the market, I just supply it with what it wants...

The Roman promoters really did things right.
They needed a show that would clearly excite.
The attendance was sparse so they put on a fight

OK. Everybody meet in the corn patch. We'll be shuckin' corn tonight! Remember cobs go to the right; husks to the left. And no unguided missle attacks!

I didn't create the monster, I just feed it...

My ex-wife manages and choreographs a tap troop in Connecticut (yea Sheri!). The name of the troop is Tap into the Soul. They've performed around a bit, do international stuff, charity work etc.

It was me who pointed out, when I was designing the logo, that the initials were NOT what they intended...

he he he...you can't make this stuff up...

Here's a complaint -

I've been in a few music stores, picking up some sheet music or a percussion piece or two and finally broke down and copied some phone numbers down for bands that are looking for drummers and claim to be either "doing it for fun" or musicians "looking to play out - not looking for recording contract". That consisted of four contacts, various musical styles.

Two weeks later and three phone calls to each and I have YET to at least get a return call from a single one at least saying, "Thanks, but no thanks"

sheesh..rude rude rude...
