Question on where to draw the line

Comments to Anna seem mostly appearance oriented.
Is it gender-related, as it seems?

Why is it that to compliment a woman on her looks is more common than to compliment her on her skill (thanks Devin for going against the trend), and vice versa for guys? :confused:

Hey Piq- The guys are not alone in this! Eric has his fan club. And Dan has several women in the Mass. area that love to raz him. He often wonders if they are randomly going to show up one day. But I do have to say with Dan and Eric the emails are more cute and poke funish then "Hey nice t*ts".

It couldn't be that men and women are hardwired differently, now could it? Men look for appearance and women look for achievement? Just a thought.

you're discrimanating against freaks. freaks add variety. Americans are all about standardation (sp?). the only people worth noting at all are the freaks. who needs regular people there is always another one of them.

Many times, women are emotion/feeling driven while men are more visual. But it doesn't mean that these gender differences are always negative. The media shows us what the ideal woman and man should look like. Most individuals don't fit television's ideal look. It's up to us to decide if this is what we want to really look like or look for in a person.

If you're a woman and you want to show your curves, then show them, let down your hair and put on lipstick, if that's what makes you happy. We shouldn't ever do it for a man or for anyone but ourselves. If we want to dress in sweat pants that is just as beautiful.

I think a man doesn't just look visually though. When he finds someone he loves, he loves her for the little things like her cute toes or the way she laughs at his jokes.

Nicole, after reading your summary of the types of comments you get, I wonder why you don't just shut off the camera? If my wife or daughter was working at B.com, I'd strongly suggest that they shut off or redirect the camera while they're on the air.

Jeff, this was addressed in an eariler post. The good that comes from the web cam far outways the crap. We can deal with it and have for three years. We just take extra precautions.

Is that with an “i” or an “a”? I noticed on the webcam one day that you have a pretty bodacious tat across your shoulder blades. Any special significance to that one?

I do have one webcam capture of you. It was funny because it looked like a cartoon ghost swept across in front of the camera. I can post it if anyone can tell me how. Is your station haunted?

Saw it! I own both I and II on DVD! Great movies. Ghosts, not worried. If there is one, he or she is just hanging out and keeping an eye on us. Kind of comforting really.

As for the tattoo... yes my back is mostly covered. They have personal meaning, music etc.
