Cockroaches!!!

With the advent of Thanksgiving is it really a surprise that there are roaches on the BBB? You know that ubiquitous 'shoot the cockroach and win a....' game?

I have a few questions:

1. Why no palmetto bugs (you might win a home theater or a car for killing one of these)?

2.Why doesn't my anti-virus delete or quarantine them?

3. Why doesn't the Windows troubleshooter help? It just keeps blaming a 'device driver'.

4. Who is the marketing genius responsible for this particular version ("how 'bout this? We get cockroaches...)?

5. Why didn't spraying the screen with Raid work?

6. Why doesn't the computer work?

7. Although these bugs pop up all over the BBB the popup blocker is ineffective, why?

8. Where are the MIB when we need them?

9. Never mind the MIB, where's Nicolette Sheridan?

Not to mention aliens, octopi, burglars, and various other nefarious icons.

I run NT at work and XP Pro at home. Those OSs have a program called "Task Manager" that shows a CPU activity scale in the tray (next to the clock). A lot of those ads on the left side of the screen run my processor up to 100% usage.

When they appear on the screens where you type in your message, they even make my typing appear slowly, not to mention hog all the cpu time when it should be busy with other things.

I know b.c needs to make money, but a lot of the ads really are sucking up resources on my machines.
