Worry not about Beethoven Radio not being on satellite radio; it is my strong feeling that within a few years, wireless internet radios will be in new cars. I love XM, but I accept that AM radio lead to FM, which lead to satellite, which will soon lead to WWW radio. The variety to the listener will have gone from twenty stations, to fifty, to over a hundred, to literally thousands, with corresponding improvements in audio quality and listenability.

What a neat idea! I would love to be able to listen to this in my car and at home, instead of just here at work (our computer is secluded at home, and we do not have wireless yet).

The pioneers will be wireless carriers such as Cingular and Sprint, providing an infrastructure for networks such as Netscape Radio and stations such as Beethoven Radio to climb onto.

I loved living in Miami. Of course, that could be because I knew it would be temporary - one year each on the Beach and one year in the Grove.

Hi ai4i and welcome! In a portion of my misspent youth I drove/owned/dispatched taxis in Miami. Do you 'own a number' or lease one and who do you operate with/for?

I changed my profile to show that I actually live, work, and play in Broward County, near Fort Lauderdale and north of Miami. I dispatched for a small fleet untill they went bellie-up. I currently lease one vehicle, drive all night and have never had my own permit, called medallions up north. I might buy another taxi after this winter (tourist) season.
