Have you ever noticed that some phrases are in plain English and yet you still have no idea what they mean?????

For instance, "leftover scotch" is tantalizingly familiar, I understand "leftover" as in “leftover pizza”, “leftover cabbage soup,” etc.

And of course, "scotch" requires no elaboration...well maybe it deserves some, but certainly doesn't requires any.

Then, the simple binary combination of "leftover scotch" comes out "ҐєĦ╟ó√єŖ ♪♪♪♪♪♪"

Totally, alien, although the musically notes seem to render what scotch would sound like if it was a song........

I wonder why that is??????

Speaking of insulting ads, the ad that runs regularly on b.com is insulting in that it ascribes sociopathic office behavior to the listener, whom I assume to be the target of the ad. Weird.

I have a problem - I have a bottle of Bailey's, and a cabbage, and several potatos. Does anyone know where to find low-sodium corned beef?

Or have I tripped on another oxymoron?

Definitely an oxymoron, being as corned beef is beef preserved with salt...... But here's a thought from another san diegan:
"Iowa Meat Farms on Mission Gorge Rd. corns their own beef and it's very good. Click on the link to what's new Is it strictly lo-sodium? Probably not. Is it somewhat lower in sodium than the usual grocery store suspects? Probably."

Clearly, the thread has mutated into something Irish. And celebratory.
Perhaps the meaning of life is to celebrate and drink ҐєĦ╟ó√єŖ ♪♪♪♪♪♪.
