Yesterday, in their infinite wisdom, our IT department decided to upgrade my browser to IE6, SP1.
Today, when I got into beethoven.com, I got a weatherbug pop-up (no big deal), but when I went to close it, it wouldn't go away. I tried the big X in the upper right corner, I tried right clicking the taskbar button and selecting "close," I tried alt-F4. Truly, I don't want weatherbug and it's pop-ups every ten minutes, even by accident (I've had other software like that self-install and it's a pain to get rid of). Eventually, I went to NT Task Manager and closed IE, which of course lost my stream, my "now playing" and my webcam of Eric's incredible Hawaiian shirt.
When I brought beethoven.com back up, no pop-ups at all this time. This is the first time I've had that happen. I'm wondering if it's an IE6 issue or something else.
