Helicoptering

Postby BenODen » Fri Oct 03, 2003 6:20 pm

Helicoptering seems to have started about 6:45 eastern... First time I've heard it though. It's more subtle than I thought it would be... Still pretty much unlistenable, though. Sounds like a CD player that can't read the CD once per revolution.

Any one else vouch for this diagnosis?

I also hear it. Is it a Harrier? It started around 18:45 EST. Somebody forgot to hit the RESET button on the way out. I hope it doesn't affect Eric's Superhero Saturday tomorrow.

I just sent a nice, polite, email to requests. We'll see if there's anyone lurking nearby.. Probably not.

Benito, you remind me of Wile E.Coyote on the Roadrunner cartoons.

Did you contact the Beethoven Air Force? They seem to be sticking around!

Wow, that is nasty! I've been very fortunate. I've never heard it before. Who do you notify when this happens?

I think the convention is (should be?) that the first poster here puts in an actual request saying that the stream needs resetting cuz it's helicoptering or calls up the station... 1-866- (aaaaaaaah, lost it!)

I'm not sure if that's established yet or not..

Oh no! The Beethoven Air Raid Force (BARF) is out! Choppers at 1600 hours! Quick, Reset! Reset!

I've been listening on and off all day. I hope the air raid doesn't go on through Symphony Sunday.
