I just click on the "listen live" button. That opens the adsertion player, which is NOT the weakest link when you are using conventional PC speakers like I am.

Welcome aboard, Muggs!

Nope! Still no Beethoven Radio!

I click on Listen Live and nothing, and yes I have Site popups allowed turned on.

But, I also tried I Tuner, and although it works for every other station under "Clasical" Beethoven.com doesn't work.

Any help would be appreciated.
This weekend I'm OK, but if I miss "film at eleven" on monday I can't be responsable for my actions. ;)

Thanks again,
Muggs

The "Listen Live" link gave me some trouble with the Win2000Pro platform at work until I upgraded the media player to the 9.0 version. If your WinMedia is still the older version and your opsys is NT based you might have the same trouble. Try upgrading WinMedia.

I suspect that the other players that don't work might have been affected by the discontinuation of the high-speed stream. There might not be a stream for them any more.

I use the "listen live" link, and it works just fine. The sound quality is better than my speakers can reproduce, and so it sounds as good as a CD does.

Good afternoon,

Barfle - Win2000 Pro

Selma & Barfle - I found out what the problem was.
I'm using the Google2 Toolbar with popup blocking, and although I have it set to allow popups, I needed to hold down the Ctrl key while clicking on the listen live button.

However, the Adsertion player is fine, I find it painful when I want to know what's playing I need to go to the website to look. When I was using WinAmp whatever was playing at the time showed up in the scrolling thing-a-ma-bob.

The problem with WinAmp is that it's a resourse hog, but whenever I wasn't using My CAD program, I'd us WinAmp.
But, alas, I lost the bookmark; So, if anyone has it I would be very greatful if they would relay it to me.

Thanks,
Muggs

Winamp's link to beethoven.com is here.

And one other nifty item at beethoven.com is just below the adsertion stream player, there's a list of links like "on the air," "email," and more. If you put your cursor on "on the air" it will pop up another list. At the top of that is "now playing." Click that and it opens a small window that automatically updates with what's playing now, and often what's coming up next.

That was indeed a great tip. You may want to keep that little window open but minimized so you can refer to it without having to go back and open it again.
