Classical music information site...survey for interest

Postby jsoares » Thu Feb 12, 2004 11:42 am

I'm thinking of designing a classical music website that contains lots of interesting information about how classical music is written, as well as thumbnail biographies of classical composers, with emphasis on their personal lives. I also intend to resell classical music CD's as well as classical sheet music.

Would you be interested in seeing such a site online? If so, do you have any other suggestions on what you might like to see on this type of site?

Be careful! You are crossing the line here. You are developing a site and looking for input, hire a consultant. We have clients of the station that your post is in direct conflict with. Please read our rule on this below.

- No advertisements – Mentioning a product or service in passing is fine, but direct solicitations are not allowed. This includes, but is not limited to, links to competing websites or radio stations, and businesses that are not partners of Beethoven.com. Well, not all of them. I'm sure of the dot-com wannabies have missed us.

Also, I'm waiting for some brilliant enterpreneur to come up with calorie-negative chocolate. Talk about the perfect valentines-day indulgence...

Selma,

RE:<<calorie-negative chocolate>>

I thought Ex-Lax met that definition.

Calorie neg chocolate:

perhaps walking to the shops, carrying the price of the chocolate in pennies would lead to net negative calorie balance?
[but what fun would THAT be?]

OMG - just realized I went thru V.Day without a single bite of "chocolates" or pure chocolate. MUST CORRECT THIS SITUATION ASAP. See's Candies, HERE I COME!

< Ed: how did this come to pass? Could it be that your "dire straits" were hidden by the chocolate sauce-dipped strawberries and the chocolate fudge-volcano cake.....[heart-shaped, no less]??? >.
