Oh, sure. Whenever you submit a form, data goes out. When you navigate to a new page, data goes out in the page request. Um, every page packet of data that gets sent to you, your computer has to send a little acknowledgement packet in response.. Um.. You send mail, I suspect... Um, other reasons your computer would send data out... Oh, cookies get sent along with every page request, so that will increase your outbound data volume...
Hmm. 1.6 vs 18. Is this what you get when double clicking on the two monitors under your clock? 1024*1024 bytes is a Meg. 1024 times that is a Gig.. It'd be surprising if you did 18 Gigs in a session, but if you keep your computer going all the time, and have always on internet, yea, you could well get up to 10^9 bytes of data sent and received... If that's for a short period, and you do get 10^9 bytes, wow. BUT until sent goes higher than around a fourth of received bytes, you're probably OK.
If only I could fly on my own wings.
