Am I a trackee?

When I opened the adsertion window to listen to Beethoven.com, the window was twice the size it normally is. In the lower half now is information such as (actual IDs deleted):

Tracker

Can anyone explain what this means? Some sort of spyware?

I do Not know what it means, but I have sent the message to my nana. Mabye she could tell us somthing about it.

I don't know what that message is. We have a call into Adsertion (they run the player). I have a feeling they are doing some work on the player and you caught part of the work. Are you still seeing the information?

It was that one time only. Haven't seen it again. Guess I'm paranoid about all the spyware trolling the Internet these days.

The tracker/trackee id information is showing up again. Have you learned anything from Adsertion? I can e-mail you a screenshot in a MS Word file if that will help.

I suspect that adsertion is tracking some of the asp programming behind their player, perhaps in an effort to get some of the bugs out of it (which would be a welcome development). They are probably tracking the values of variables in their program and such like, rather than your activities. I doubt very much that it is spyware and wouldn't worry about it much were I you.

I wonder if this has anything to do with the huge quantity of information my computer sends out when I listen to BR?
