Please listen to the commercial. It's special announcement. Once you listen to it, you'll find you will be much happier.... trust me on this. Follow its instructions.

I followed the instructions, the stream is running on WinMedia. Dare I hope that this stream is de-choppered? So much for the AdSertion player.

Had to log in again, had forgotten my password (thanks for the e-mailed reminder) and now I'm me again.

At least I hope I'm me again....

Wow. It took a few tries. I'm glad it finally came through. Thought I was going to go crazy there for a few seconds.

Yes, Selma we are back on Windows. Adsertions was just to much (cost) and the stream was at times, difficult. So we went with a company called EGI that works with Windows!

FYI: This stream is capped at 1000 streams. It will fill up fast! Some days you may not beable to listen due to it's cap. I suggest looking into the Real One player for those interested. It's a 96K stream and you get access to MP3's, over 600,000 downloads and all the other Real One stations etc. Here's a link: http://www.beethoven.com/realone/

*laugh* Yea, I thought it was stuck too.. I kept hearing the words, but not getting it! It took... 3 or 4 times through the whole thing to connect the dots. But I was deep in thought, so I have an excuse!

Limited to 1000 listeners? I don't know how many usually listen, but that seems quite low.

And, as I noted, not having admin rights on my work PC, I can't load the real 1 broadband player. And not having broadband at home, well... I'm pretty limited in my options.

I don't know if I'll ever have a problem with the limit, but that few listeners seems to make "The World's Classical Music Station" seem a bit, shall we say, "exaggerated?"

We can allow up to 2000 but we have to limit to what we can afford. Straming is not cheap. Don't crack on it to bad. We are still free and live compared to the amount of jukebox stations and stations that are starting to charge. Don't fear change.

Distressed to hear about the stream feed cap. This wretched work computer is another of the "no administrative permissions" setups that won't let us install anything.

It takes several clicks on the "listen live" link to launch the WinMedia player and then the AdSertion player needs to be killed. This will improve? Also, launching the WinMedia logs me off. Again, will be tweeked?

Try cleaning out your favorites or cookies. Your computers may still be trying to connect to the Adsertion stream.

Selma, as for the Win Media logging you off, that should not happen. It sounds like something else is going on. Check with your admin person, there may be a firewall in place.

Barfle,

At least you don't roll into work around 11AM EST like some of those left coasters do! If it's going to fill up it won't be at 7 or 8 EST, unless there's a lot of trans-Atlantic activity.

Nicole,

Probably most of the b.com working listeners listen "under the radar" of the system admins. I'm sure they wouldn't want their bandwidth sucked up by MUSIC!

Just checked with Chris Larsen our IT guy, we capped it at 2000 not 1000. My bad.

One additional benefit is that I can now see the composer and work being played in WMP, without having to fire up the b.com home page! :D :D

Am so happy that the cap is 2000. . .am pretty sure that at 9 am EST I will be ok for streaming. My day would be really boring without BR!
Thanks for making the day go by!
