I'm having trouble loading the stream today. I get the Windows Media player to come up but all it does it try to connect. Anyone else having this issue?
I had that problem yesterday. It would say "Ready" down at the bottom. I just kept trying until it worked. I got disconnected about three times due to server problems here, and I had that "ready" problem each time I tried to get back on. Is that what yours is telling you?

That is exactly what it's doing. I know it's not my work server or net connection because i'm listening to my local radio station on the internet right now.
Mine is working fine today, although I had a little trouble getting it started yesterday.
Occasionally, it won't start. When it does that, I just click on the "Play" button if it's showing, or the "Stop" button if it's not, then play again and it buffers and plays just fine the rest of the day.
But the WMP stream is a lot more stable than the Adsertion one was.
I cheated. I put in the "Pirates of the Caribbean" CD. It plays. At least that proves it's not my my computer that's broken.
I keep CDs at work, as occasionally Captain Midnight and his Low Bid IT Department kill the internet for us, sometimes for days at a time. Hey, if you paralyze the whole company, it's a secure connection, right?
Ludwig e-mailed me, said that he'd had a problem with the WinMedia stream, but that it was fixed. That was very nice of him.
Don't know what kind of a crippled opsys I have; I believe I mentioned Captain Midnight and the Low Bidders? I think it started as 2000, but it's been tweeked and "secured" and firewalled and all kinds of things. We do have WinMedia 9. They had to test it for a while, before they could load it, though. Might have been subversive.
Sorry about that folks. Our streaming partner that runs our Windows stream had a tech issue today. A thrid party they work with messed something up somewhere and it caused our stream to well... not work. If anyone has any more problems please email: helpme@beethoven.com
