WMP Error

I never thought I would be able to listen at work and not at home, but that's the problem. The same version of WMP is running at work and home, but at home I get this message:

message:C00D10B5
Windows Media Player cannot play any items in this playlist. For additional information, right-click an item that cannot be played, and then click Error Details.

I've checked some of the newsgroups that are supposed to have solutions, but so far, nothing.

Anyone have any bright ideas???

Are you running WinXP sp2 at home? Maybe it's just a whipping post, but it's worth a thought... If you are, you might just update to the newest version of wmp and be OK.

We run Windows 98. Yeah, it's an older system, and up till now it's been fine. We are running wmp 9 series, and there are no updates available. My daughter looked through all the wmp preferences and said there is no reason it shouldn't be playing.
Going to have to wait for computer-guru hubby to get home.

OT finally gave up on 98, moved to XP. After dragging his feet for a month. I think the circumstances were different than yours, though.

I haven't had any trouble with the stream, on wmp9 running under the office Win2000 network.

To change the subject, are you up for the Viewing Of Garrett's Front Yard, on Halloween?

Win2000 is what I run at work (where I listen w/o problems), so I bet the OS is the problem. Going to have a "chat" with hubby this evening!

Going to have to pass on the Viewing -- family plans were made well in advance.
