I noticed it - yesterday I made a post to OT's thread about PNAC and it appeared in Haggis' thread about the Main Stream Media. Then I couldn't find OT's thread for half an hour - even though I KNEW it was there. I had to log off and log back in to find it again. But when I clicked on it it took me back to Haggis' thread.
Yep, and I responded to RK yesterday with a heartening "my blood pressure is back under control, sorry for the <ahem> *itchiness" and then couldn't find it!!
All seems well today though. . .

We seem to have a bugaboo in the bbb! I thought I was hallucinating yesterday when I first noticed my thread disappeared. Now we seem to be losing threads and posts...

Sorry folks. We are having sync problems with our servers. We spread the BBB over two servers and they do not want to play together at the moment. When you post or visit you may be on one or the other. We are trying to get the servers to play nice but at this moment they don't want to talk to each other. It's like having children...
The servers are more like Chris Larsens kids. Our poor IT Director is in engineering with them right now. I'm waiting for Larsen to issue "groundings" for the servers soon.
Piq and I both were in a sort of BBB time warp all day until I started my computer up again just now. All we could access was the BBB as it was ~4 days ago - all posts and threads that have been generated since then weren't there. I e-mailed Chris for help.
Very, very strange.
Could it have been that we were stuck on the evil twin server in the alternate BBB universe?!!

Well I sent one of my "servers" to its room and it will not come out until it can learn to behave. I apologize for the inconvenience. Syncrhonization was lost between the servers and that caused the loss of some posts. We are currently running off of one server until I can bring the other one back into line. We'll hopefully have it cracked soon.
Sincerely,
Chris Larsen
