Thanks for your comments guys.
That is a little rich for me right now BigJon, but thanks for making note of it. I will try to find it. :)

OT, I am undecided about the it/them question. The clips were edited and then put to air. The original clips in their whole were not used. Therefore, only one clip was produced using many sources.
Then again, maybe I am wrong :D

I'm guessing it would be the "color quality has past a point" phrase, which I would have written "color quality has passed the point". There are a couple of other nit-picky issues that might be addressed.

Since the site is specifically selling speed, quality, and attention to detail, the little details on the front page matter.

The general look of the page is very clean and professional. :)

PSIP, nit picking below. FWIW, on first viewing, I like the looks of your home page.

"in less then 10 Minutes " should be "in less than 10 min" (but you dont need the bold font)

" at the 2006 Great Lakes Broadcasting Conference and EXPO at the Lansing Convention Center "
Try "in the Lansing..." for easier reading

Broaden the white to the right a little more past the end of the text. It feels like the site is going to fall off the edge of the page into unknown nothingness at any second. It kinda made me feel dizzy.

Nope, nobody has mentioned it yet. Keep looking. :) I'll give you a clue. The spell checker won't catch it.

Thank you Piqaboo, I didn't notice that then/than error, good catch.

I can't change the formatting of the page, I don't know how. If I figure it out, I will.

Everyones suggestions have been great.

BigJoh, I think I found it:

Film and Video Clips are digitized utilizing the same equipment they were originally play backed or recorded on.

Second paragraph: Change "tape may be deteriorated" to --tape may deteriorate--. Writing teachers always warn about passive voice.

Fifth paragraph, I believe the Sony BVU series was VTR, not VRT. Actually, I think it was a VCR, being U-Matic format.

Do you have anything in the EVR format? I actually have two of those players (one of which works, last time I tried it), if the need presents itself.

I'm no English major.. just trying to help tighten some of this up....
-----------------------------------------
Because of the ageing process,
Spelling "Aging"
=========================================

Frequently news that happens today has its roots in past events.
Shouldn't there be a comma after Frequently and the verbiage
"has its roots in past events" be
"has its roots from past events"
================================================

Recently a man turned himself in to the police for a murder he committed
Shouldn't "in to" be "into" ???
============================================

These files, although large, maintain the quality of an uncompressed storage. They are also directly importable into your editing systems.

I think these two sentences should read...

These files, although large, maintain their quality as uncompressed storage. They can also be directly imported to your editing systems.
===============================================

Fully automatic systems have a flaw, they don't know what the subject of interest is.

Should this read:
Fully automatic systems have flaws. They don't know what the subject of interest is.
============================================

Found one more spelling error:

If not stored under prefect conditions, tape may deteriorate beyond use in 10 years.

Should be "perfect" not prefect....

You nailed it! Did you google the hint like I told you not to? It is the model number for the Ford Prefect, a name better know as the earthly name taken by the alien sidekick in Hitchhikers.

TM - nice list. I disagree about a few:

===================
Frequently news that happens today has its roots in past events.
1: Shouldn't there be a comma after Frequently
2: and the verbiage
"has its roots in past events" be
"has its roots from past events"
================================================

Recently a man turned himself in to the police for a murder he committed
3: Shouldn't "in to" be "into" ???
============================================

1:Maybe. 2: No. 2: No.

Roots are 'in'. Its a biological metaphor. Origins are 'from'.

'Into' means the man became the police. This one is using the verb form 'to turn in'.

Piq,
No problem... Thanks for your input too...
As I said, I'm no English Major.....
Just tried to put down a few things I though
could be tightened up.
