Two Tries

It almost always takes me two tries to start up B.com. The first try often hangs up IE and I have to kill the window. I use the Google tool bar to block pop-ups, so I'm guessing that is my problem. I'm unwilling to give it up though. Anyone else having this problem with this combination?
IE: Version 6.0.2800.1106CO
Google Toolbar Version: 3.0.124.6

Hi Jo, keep IE6 make sure you have the recent updates. Dump the google pop up stopper and get the free edition from:

http://www.panicware.com/

I've never had a serious problem with IE6.
Even the XP's SP2 as a pop up blocker installed into IE6, I've disabled it in favour of my free edition.
That's just my own experience.

Uh, guys . . . I'm @work, I can't load any software that is not on the approved list.

I was hoping for setting suggestions to prevent this.

BigJon- The Google popup blocker allows you to select individual sites to allow popups in. Just click on the the google popup blocker when you visit B.com and click on "Allow site popups" This will enable the popups for ONLY B.com while still blocking other sites for you. That should solve the problem.

P.S. or you can just press and hold CTRL when you click on the listen link. Keep CTRL held until the streaming program opens. :p

Hal, presuming Big-Jon has, XP installed and up to date, then doesn't IE6 have its own pop up blocker? If so maybe one or the other should be disabled. What do you reckon?

Not sure on that Lliam. But manually overriding the pop-up blocker by pressing and holding CTRL when you click on a link that you know will open in a new window (and therefore is a pop-up itself) should be a universal way of handling this regardless of which pop-up blocker is being used.
