Yes, me - but it gets there eventually.
Meanwhile, I can make a cup of coffee, brush my teeth, have a shower, check E-mails, get on with some work, etc. etc.

I've been having difficulty listening to Beethoven.com for several weeks now. I usually listen on Real Player, but the playing has been intermittent. Thinking it was a Real Player problem, or a computer problem, I switched to listening on Windows Media Player, with the same results. This led me to think I had a computer issue, or a firewall problem. I then switched on one of those lesser classical stations available on Real Player, and the stream has been comming in with no problem.

Thus it would seem the problem is not in Real Player, my computer, or the firewall. Is anyone else having this problem with the Beethoven.com stream?

I listen to the WMP stream, there's lots of buffering about midday. I've been blaming the firewall and the cheesy low-bid-contractor-supplied network, with the alleged help desk located three thousand miles from my desk.

Thanks, whoever kicked the server!

Apparently Real Player doesn't like Grieg. It wouldn't work this morning, when Beethoven.com was playing his Piano Concerto, and then it dropped out this afternoon during his symphony.

I guess it's just not very Griegarious when it comes to Grieg.

Maybe the server's Swedish. They're always making jokes and picking on Norwegians... :D

The problem now is that the server doesn't seem to want to make noises, Norwegian or otherwise.

Right now it's playing Bee en's Fa y for P , Chor and Orch a.

The WinMedia stream isn't having problems. Sounds OK here.

That's why I blamed it on Real Player, for not being Griegarious enough.

Once the Beethoven piece was over, it seems to have been kicked. The Tchaikovsky piece came in just fine. Really nice piece, too, BTW.

Now there's either some jazzy version of pink noise playing, or the server's acting up again. I hope it's the server acting up, as I'd hate to think that Nicole would allow something like that to be played on Beethoven.com!

I've got some kind of an oom-pah waltz going here. It's claiming to be the Moonlight sonata, on the "now playing" on the WinMedia player, but I don't believe it.

It's past 02:30 EDT and still stuck with the Moonlight, while I haven't heard a single note played with a piano.

I was using Windows Media Player today, since the stream from RealPlayer was acting up, and the "Now Playing" Window has been stuck on "Film at Eleven" all day. That's the longest version of "Star Wars" I've ever heard!
