Went on a quick, lunchtime shopping splurge yesterday; I bought 4 CDs.

Malher's 6th Symphony
Malher's Song of the Earth
Gorecki's 3rd Symphony (Sorrowful Souls)
Penderecki's Threnody to the Victims of Hiroshima (thanks again Big, I really liked this one.

P.S. My 2 year old complained that I turned off the music when we got home; he wanted to hear more of Gorecki's He must be one of the youngest classical music listener's to voice his opinion. (Waaa! I want more!)

Is your drive home of the order of 150 miles, or were you snarled up in traffic for a couple of hours?

Dave, Dave, Dave.....the 2 events are separate. I bought the 4 CDs one day and the next day I was listening to one of them in the car with my son. Sorry I misled you.
