All morning, seemingly. Now it appears to be running on one flat. Very slow.

It was down for a while yesterday, too.

Must be a computer.

BB Moved

Postby CLarsen » Fri Jun 09, 2006 2:37 pm

Hello,

The reason it was down for a bit was because we moved over to our new in-house servers. There will be some tuning involved but it should be a much more solid experience. Thanks!
Sincerely,

In house! So you built them some nice digs? The nerds here want pictures!

Congrats on a mostly smooth cutover. 8 hours of downtime all told isn't bad for not buying scads of extra hardware. Now you get to tweak and catch up, eh?

No sooner had I said that, then on the last post I get the "DEBUG" message:

Ah ha, you're getting those TOOO. Are you getting any topic reply notifications OT? Cuz I'm not getting them tonight... It could be my fault for using two different IDs from one IP address? Nah, cuz you and Piq would do that too. Hmmmmmm. Odd that it picked on my new ID... (could you put a bit of spammer obfuscation in that email address in case in case we have spambots trolling our waters for email addresses? Thanks!)

Hah, the adventures of migrating Data centers.

Huh, so I haven't gotten any spam from this address, so I guess we're not being scanned by harvesting bots... Still, mind replacing the email with (oden email)? Thanx.

P.S. As for BBB it was still up at 10:30 MDT...

I'm trying to see my name listed on every forum on the Forum Index, I'd appreciate it if you stop posting for a couple of minutes so I can see my cheap dream come true. Mr Bignaf virus.

Is it just me, or is the BBB running at about the speed of Morse Code today?

It must be you, because I don't think it's anywhere near that fast...

The BBB was terribly slow earlier today, even compared with other boards that seemed OK, but from home it's lightning fast.
