Was it true that back when you guys first started posting here you had to walk through six feet of snow in your bare feet just to post?

So based on average posts a year, we should reach the 100,000 post mark in approx. 1.5 years. :)

Or for those who like statistics (cough)..........*ig, we could reach the 100,000 by December 31, 2006 if there is a post approx. every 4.5 minutes. :)

I think you have to look at the difference in post rates before O.T. and after O.T. :D

I'd love to post more...don't get much time at home - rather be playing with Pumpkin! Didn't even get to 200 in my first year. Will have to look at this post to see what I"m up to now. Maybe I'll be able to help out more when I'm on maternity leave and want an easy way to have an adult conversation....now I just post at work when I need a break from looking at numbers...

If I keep posting 200 a year, in 40 years I can be where OT is now... wow!

Naw, OT, it was harder than that! They had to find a telephone pole and nail their message to it.

But I don't believe I was the first, nor the first non-staff member.

Bobcatcicle, what a great story, I too remember that, but I'm a newbie, I came here just after OT's major morbid mortorcycle medical mishap...

But beethoven bulliten board boasting besting posting would be interesting. A moderate marathon of mundane messages might make the milestone more managable.

We manage about 100 posts on a good day nowadays. we covered about 2000 posts in the last 20+ days. so in about half a year (considering we'll probably grow somewhat), we should reach 100,000.

Mmm. French fried pigeon. With, perhaps, a spicy dipping sauce?

Not blood sauce, though. Formidable or otherwise.
