30Q #21

Postby DavidS » Wed Jul 19, 2006 2:55 pm

Nicole,
In the name of order, could we have a list of compositions that have already been featured?
We have passed the #20 mark, and some of us have reached an age at which memory is a bit of a challenge.
I have decided on something and am open to guesses - hoping it hasn't gone before!

Nicole? one of us can do it. I'll do it sometime soon, if no one else did it already.
I don't think it's very important. it's probably not the end of the world if we do the same one twice, and the chances are very slim.

it's a good year since it eliminates most of the romantics specifically Brahms, and on the otherdise could eliminate the impresionists and later. Debussy's first important work was in 1894.

Was the composer a European? And if so did he/she belong to western Europe?
