Is it in a Flat (major) scale? If not, then my guess is, what else but Symphony #5 in F.

EDIT : Oops! Didn't notice #8 was there. :oops:

you probably didn't understand his question.

he's asking if the tonic of the symphony is a flat note. so if it's a symphony in E flat major, your answer would be yes. etc.

Well in the source I am basing myself on, in the case in question "sharp" or "flat" are not specified. But "E" is not in it anyway.
