Navneeth, please re-state your 30Q question (vocal vs choral?).

I'm not sure how to, because I've seen some work which has a part for a singer (a soprano) and a choir. My question is analogous to asking whether it is a concerto? Like, is it orchestral(choir)? Does it have a highlighted instrument(s)(one or more "singers").

I just messed up the whole thing, didn't I?

Forget that question...I'll come up with something else.

19. Full orchestra? YES but it was originally composed for choir and small orchestra and later set to full orchestra.

20. Composed between 1930-1933? NO

I need to correct or explain my answer to Bignaf's question 17, film score? I answered NO. The piece was not composed for film, as a soundtrack, but it was used in one movie in 2005. I cannot give the title of the film without giving away the answer.

22. Is it a theatrical piece? NO, it's only a few minutes long but you could make a play out of the material. I tried "googling" it as a theatrical production but just got links to orchestral concerts.

23. Sensemaya? DING DING DING! YES.

Finally, I thought you guys would have figured it out by yesterday morning. There aren't that many Mexican composers and Revueltas' wikipage has the answer right on it. Anyway, Nav gets the next 30Q.

Sensemaya: Chant for the Killing of a Snake. Check the links.

His music is quite unique and I think more accessible than Carlos Chavez.

I kept looking for a choral piece with full orchestra. I didn't realize you meant it was arranged for full orchestra by itself. good one! I learned about a composer I didn't know.
