Weekend Feature

Postby navneeth » Tue Jun 06, 2006 10:57 am

Just wondering if you have any new programs planned for the weekends (after a successful change of servers, of course :-) ). In the three months I've been listening to this station, specials like Mozart Madness, Russian Invasion(?), the alpahbet thing and others (Beethoven Symphonies during Sundays) have been featured at least twice. Might I suggest a Sonata Sunday or a Baroque Bash?

Yes, congratulations, Nav!

We don't seem to acknowledge chair thresholds much anymore these days.

Yep. People go solo and tend to forget the pack that's following them. :P

Dude, didn't you know? The world is ending in 2038 when the 32 bit unix time epoch runs out. You'd better step it up or you'll be left wanting when the world ends!

Nav, I've requested J.S. Bach's Suite No. 5 for Cello in C minor, BWV 1011 for Baroque Saturday!

How in the baroque did Gabriel Faure slip into the Baroque Saturday line up?

Vivaldi is on now and Bach has not been played, yet. I'll have an ear out for your request.

Btw, regarding Faure, they usually play something to fill time between two pieces, and they'll never say a word about it. :D

We've got Bach now, but it's the Toccata and Fugue, not your cello thingie.

The Faure was nice. :D

Just think where I'd be if I'd been able to come up with any piscine puns. The Baroque show is done, and we've got some fella spitting into a trombone. It's dire.

Oh, well, it's better than Charlotte Church.
