It's me again Margaret.

Been away for a while on contract.

Was in Raliegh, NC. Now in Tulsa, OK.

Now have my own computer (that I didn't have to leave home for Mom's & my husband's use), and even named it Spike. :dunce:
Uhm... there's an adventure... posted on my own forum... but it's a long story with many ties to my recent and distant history...

Short story is... Buying a computer is like buying a puppy, you bring it home after signing all the papers and shelling out the $$$, and then you realize you have to go pick up this and that and the other thing, and end up spending more on the stuff than on the puppy.
So there was a Spike in spending.
And there was a Spike in my blood pressure because I'm a cheepskate and bought a Saudust desk and put it together... becoming thoroughly convinced that these things are an Taliban/Alquaida conspiracy plot in the process.
And Spike in :rant:

So... anyrate... it's good to be listening again!

Matter of fact we had our 20th anniversary yesterday...
:roll: Over 300 miles apart, but we had it.
Stray is coming in to celebrate it with me tomorrow morning... (Tulsa being a bit - toasty - long drives with cars that have non-functioning airconditioners are not advised... matter of fact that very thing got some EMTs looking me over this past weekend...
Yeah... we've survived with our marriage intact so far.
But, heck, our marriage survived my supervising him at an actual job type work one time, too :crazy: ...so this? I won't say not a problem, but... :lol:

Hmmmm... I was calling it Rawly. Last day of my contract there was March 31st. Stray came the week before I left Raleigh and stayed with me, then we went and did our April Foolin' on the Outer Banks.
:dunce: Oh, yeah... off season, almost nothin's open then.
Ah well... was most interested in seeing Mom Atlantic anyway.
The trip back to Missouri was too fast too enjoy, guess Stray got a little barn sour.

Uhm... well... since I hooked up my old printer and the ink cartraiges are all dried up... I can't say that Spike is paper trained yet. That and the XP compatibility thing is in question yet... but I don't know 'til I get cartraiges...

That's funny. Our marriage survived me supervising her at one time too. Must be the stuff of strong marriages.
