Postby Nicole Marie » Thu Aug 24, 2006 9:36 am

We average about a dozen people each week who sign up for an account with the Bulletin Board.... I know you are out there. :neener:

But very few of them post on the Board. WHY NOT?!

We'd love to hear form you... Newbies.... Start posting!! We'd love to hear your comments. Join us! :toast:

Y.R.H., I was wondering that same thing myself. I've noticed, however, that the vast majority of those who do sign up and are not obviously bots don't include any personal information whatsoever. The current newest member, louisrenedalais, is a typical example.

It makes me rather suspicious of their authenticity.

I've also noticed that, aside from the regular bunch of posters, no one else is posting at all. We're a fairly congenial bunch, so that ain't it.

I've noticed, and even posted about it before, that some of the older members are logging in and reading the posts, but not posting. I see Peter and Titian logged on often enough, but no posts.

Yes, indeed. Our Navneeth joined less than half a year ago, and is more than half way to her thousandth post.

Our famous composer, Shostakovich. Great composer, perhaps not the greatest judge of gender?

The current newest member actually has a photo - possibly a real person!

C'mon Lauren, post something!

I guess it's too late to change my username. May be I'll change my sig to something like Navneeth (M/21).

I wonder if you're the youngest member Nav?

Perhaps youngest of the currently-posting members. Owlet should still be younger. There was also a teenager from Alabama, Mississippi, or Louisiana that posted a few a while back.

I don't believe Altoid has her own login yet.

My mistake. Altoid probably qualifies as the youngest, unless some of the more recent offspring also have logins.

I doubt that's the case. All of the other children's parents have lives beyond the BBB.

Yes, I was going to bring up Eugene before Altoid batted me away from the computer so she could post. If I remember correctly, he should be a senior in high school this year. I wonder whatever happened with his musical pusuits?

I'm curious if "Lauren Marie" is any relation to "Nicole Marie". There seems to be some family resemblance from the photo.
