Listening to BR on Linux

Postby navneeth » Mon Sep 04, 2006 2:51 am

Chris, Sarge, is there a way I could listen to the BR free (Real) Stream from Ubuntu Liunx? I have installed Real Player on my computer; but there are no options for Radio within the player, like in Windows. Some one in the Ubuntu Forums said that they could listen to a BBC stream from a link in BBC's site.

Never mind. I can now listen to BR on Ubuntu. Just this problem of slow internet connection to deal with.

Yes, very much. Still not completely sure of how to do things, but the people at the Ubuntu Forums are very helpful. Of course, currently the major problem is, as I've said earlier, the slowness of my internet connection while using Ubuntu. No remedy to make Firefox faster has worked. Tried installing Opera...I think it was installed, but I'm unable to locate it. :dunce:
