I see that in doing so it still does not provide detailed information about the piece, so I'm still in the dark as to who performed it.

I still think the Roberto Alagna/Bryn Terfel recording is the best I've heard so far of that work.

I love the Bach Ave Maria that just finished. I wish I could play flute or harp like that. Thankfully I am very good at playing CDs. May have to add this one to the collection.
I prefer Bach's Ave Maria to Schubert's, but - shhhhh - don't tell my daughter - she's learning Schubert's Ave Maria on the piano for her Christmas recital.

Woo hoo! LVB's Triple Concerto is on! Mvt 1 and 3.

I love it, especially his 1st movement. Not his most popular concerto by far, but an underrated work.

"Rage over a Lost Penny" is playing. Most appropriate.

Just finished putting in a set of "corrections" from an engineer who can neither spell nor parse. I expect when he sees the published copy, that there will be a rage over the corrected trivia, all of which together are not worth a penny.

We'll be having the same argument over again once more - the one about how they control technical content and I own style, layout, grammar, spelling, and format. This discussion sometimes elevates a level, and we have an engineering group head in my boss's office wanting to know when the engineers can do the manuals directly without my silly obstructionism, and my boss indicating that Lucifer will be hosting ski tours first.

I don't like this version of the String Quartet Op. 59/1 Razumosky by Takacs Quartet. They are playing the 1st movement way too fast, too rushed.

Much prefer Quartetto Italiano's version. IMHO

I heard the final movement of Mussorgsky's Pictures at an Exhibition (The Great Gate of Kiev), orch. by Ravel

Really enjoyed it, especially the movements ending. What a finish!
