The first is probably the most recognisable landmark, the 130+ years old Central Railway Station (simply known as central station or just central), with taxis in the foreground.
The building in the second picture was, for a very long time, one of the tallest in the country with just 14 floors. It is sill one of the tallest (probably The tallest) in the city. It's the regional HQ of the Life Insurance Corporation (LIC) of India. It was painted in the colour only recently. You can see one of the city buses in the foreground.

A temple, a few Kms outside the city
This is a building that I always see on my way to central station, but never knew its name till I saw that pic. It's quite sad to such classic buildings in a state like that.
