Find the threateners, send them to Iran and Afghanistan where they can discuss Intelligent Design with the 'powers that be'.
Faith, by definition is a belief that doesn't rest on logical proof or material evidence. Science is knowledge or a system of knowledge covering general truths or the operation of general laws especially as obtained and tested through the scientific method and concerned with the physical world and its phenomena. (Emphasis mine).
Science deals with proofs and the observable. Faith-based solutions, because they rely upon an unobservable source are 'logically unprovable'. Hence the contradiction. This doesn't make faith-based solutions 'false', it just means that for the scientist, until further verifiable evidence presents itself, the current 'scientific arguments' used to 'prove' Intelligent Design' have been found wanting.
Darwin was a man of great faith. I think if he were asked he would answer that of course he believed all this world was the result of an Intelligent Design by an Intelligent Designer. It's obvious he didn't feel the need to prove that point because he doesn't make it part of his argument.
