well, not really.
but his newest piece, Daniel Variations, is about the murder of Daniel Pearl, the WSJ reporter. killed in Pakistan.
premiere at barbican hall in London. 8 October 2006 at 8 PM. does anyone live near London? lliam? we need a report! :)

Sorry for the digression, but Pearl was murdered in Pakistan.

I'm interested in a review, too. I've never come across a musical piece about an event that happened not so long ago.
