FINALLY!

My SDO contract came in the mail Saturday. I'm signed for four out of five for the coming season: Boris Godunov, Il Trovatore, Samson and Delilah, and Wozzek. My best yet!

Shos, I can't say for sure but based on this link I'd say we are getting the original Mussorgsky, as well as the great Italian bass, Ferruccio Furlanneto(sp?) the only Italian to sing 'Boris' in Moscow.

Tsk tsk tsk. Il trovatore was written by Joe Grteen, so it couldn't possibly be my favorite. Everyone knows Jack is my favorite composer.

The favorite, and the standard by which all operas should be judged, is of course Turandot.

I just realized I am moving in to a segment of society where I never ever imagined I'd find a place. I'm going to be .....
