Browsing through the new
Barnes and Noble store yesterday, I noticed that they have a rack of box sets which I overlooked the first day I was there. Actually, overlooked isn't the word; I saw it there but there were collections of
Led Zeppelin,
Bruce Springsteen, etc. most prominent among then, and in the hustle and bustle of opening day I didn't look much further. The lower shelves are entirely complete operas and classical collections: Beethoven Symphonies, etc. I noticed that they have the CD of
Les Pêcheurs de perles which I linked to above. I believe I might purchase it.
It seems to me that someone here has dropped subtle hints that
Turnadot might be worth a listen

. I notice that they have it on CD as well, but I've not looked at the reviews to see if it is one of the better sets. Are there any recommendations as to which recording of it would be worth buying?
