No, not me. But apparently lots of people were.
Not many red states left.... <sniff>

Republicans are Red,
Democrats are Blue.................I'll let you finish the poem.

Not sure I agree, but it seemed to come from the right side of the aisle.

I wasn't sure, but I, too, thought that 'better red than dead' preceeded 'better dead than red'. It could just be the order I heard them in, though. This part of the country was more of the 'I'd rather fight than switch' crowd, not the 'if you can't lick 'em, join 'em' group.

I'm never sure. I always feel like the Republicans should be Blue, on account of how that was how the history books I grew up with represented the Union states from the US Civil War (or, as my paternal grandmother always insisted, The War Between The States). So the news channels often disagree with my preconceptions, and I get baffled and befuddled, and don't remember who I am. Very sad.
Maybe somebody knows a mnemonic I can memorize? Like the one for I and E when you're spelling things?

I think you are right. The news droids insist on calling Sept. 11, 2001 as 9/11. IgnoranceSerenity wrote:BigJon wrote:People who talk about red and blue with regards to bulk political beliefs are most likely intellectually immature. Sorry, it just shows a lack of critical thinking.
That's just about everyone in the media. I think somebody needs a hug
