Got 'naf's list too - that's 3.

I'll post the lists, totals, consensus etc next week,
and we can indulge in arguing til we are happy with the overall list.
Perhaps this will become the top Google hit for "American Orchestras".

North America
Orchestra......

I have Shapley's list, complete with reigning conductors.

Step right up, send in your 2cents worth. Have an opinion (its free).

Remember, these orchestras record, so many of us have heard more than 10.

I'll post lists etc end of next week, and open the rankings up for discussion and modification, prior to compiling the b.com "official" list of Top Orchestras in North Ameria (note = this includes Canada).

Did we ever get a final count on this one? Hope I haven't missed something.

Wow, I found this!
I searched And Top And Orchestra, and it was only 8 or so down the list (below things like Altoid thread).

The search feature has me mystified.

Results to follow. (the board is processing slowly today)
