Regarding the voices: Is it a choir? If not, are there more than one singer?

Is the composer in question one of the Big 4 Classical Era German speaking composers (Haydn, Mozart, Beethoven, Schubert).

Yes, I know Schubert is considered by many as the first of the true Romantics, but I still include him as a "Classicist" for the sake of argument here.

Is this a sacred work?

If so, is it a Requiem? (/*once again, Requiems are sacred works, right?*/)

If it is a requiem, was it performed at a memorial for another composer?

Guess: Antonio Rosetti's Requiem, which was performed at the memorial for Mozart.

The 'probably not' did it. :)

Way to go, Nav!

I hadn't had time to get back in the game and it was over!

Great line of questioning.

Impressive Nav!!

I'm taking a break from doing a 30Q. But I'll still ask questions. Anyone's welcome to do start one if they wish.

I'll be gone early today and won't return 'til Monday, other than a quick look when I get the time.

If no one starts one between now and Monday, I'll consider starting one then. I've got a couple of pieces in mind.
