David Foster assembled a group of talented musicians from the legendary Shaboo Night Club that went on to become one of the best known bands in Connecticut. The Shaboo is gone but the music has lived on! Foster and friends are still cranking out their trademark rhythm, blues and soul music, now as the house band for the Mohegan Sun Casino.

Maestro Cumminng celebrates Independence Day in the time-honored tradition! Come early, bring your family and a picnic. Then join Hartford Symphony Music Director Edward Cumming for an inspiring tribute to our country’s patriots of yesterday and today, and a thrilling concert featuring favorites from American composers. The traditional performance of Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky’s 1812 Overture and John Philip Sousa’s Stars and Stripes Forever will conclude the concerts. A fireworks spectacular will send the evening out with a bang! Special guest violinist Leonid Sigal and the Middletown High School Chamber Choir will join take to the stage!
